We are thrilled to have been chosen by the many readers of the Times of Acadiana. But without the dedication of volunteers and staff, we could not have reached this honorable position! Come Join Us!
The following is a list of basic requirements for all Hospice of Acadiana Volunteers:

A completed volunteer application

A Criminal Background Check (Completed by Hospice of Acadiana at no cost to the volunteer)

An interview with the Director of Volunteer Services

A signed Patient Confidentiality Agreement
-
Hospice Volunteer Training
In addition, individuals who plan to volunteer their time in patient care roles will need:

A two-part TB Skin Test (completed by Hospice of Acadiana at no cost to the volunteer)
