times as needed.  Unlike for-profit hospices, Hospice of Acadiana caters to individual patient needs and makes it unnecessary to leave their homes to visit a physician, as a physician will come to you if need be.  However, the patient has the right to keep their primary care physician as their attending physician.  

 

These in home visits are designed to keep patient care as comfortable and convenient as possible and negate frequent trips to the hospital for routine care.  Depending on the patient's needs, we can provide preventative medicine, therapy, and wellness management in the comfort of their own homes.
