Hospice of Acadiana is Proud to announce that it has started new Program entitled Pet Peace of Mind that will allow us to provide animal care for hospice patients.  Through a grant from Banfield Charitable Trust, Hospice of Acadiana will be able to assist both hospice patients and their family members who may be caring for the pet.  We can provide an extra hand to help care for the pet.  This ensures the family’s animals are not being neglected. Pets often fill the rational void as they offer unconditional love, and comfort at a time when it is most needed.  Peace of mind helps patients and their pets at home through their end of life journey.
