At Hospice of Acadiana, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive hospice care to not only the patient, but the family as well.  Hospice care refers to the basic services provided to a patient and family from the time of admission until the time of the patient’s death.  Hospice of Acadiana offers comprehensive medical care, education, volunteer services, pastoral care, Veterans programs, bereavement, and even pet care to the members of the Acadiana community.

 

In addition to comprehensive hospice care, Hospice of Acadiana, Inc. offers a comprehensive bereavement program for family members after the death of their loved one.  This program includes individual and group counseling for families of Hospice patients as well as anyone in the Acadiana community who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  This service is offered Free of Charge as part of the Mission of Hospice of Acadiana
